ABOUT THE ARTIST

Born in 1987, I’m an artist and musician based in Massachusetts.  My paintings are stylized and expressive, and pull from a diverse range of influences such as vintage magazines, movies, internet ephemera, folktales, art history, my own photographs, and direct observation.

I received my MFA in painting from San Francisco Art Institute and my BFA from the New England School of Art and Design at Suffolk University. My work has been exhibited in galleries in San Francisco, Oakland, Los Angeles, Brooklyn and Boston.

ABOUT THE SHOP

With the shop, I can bring you my artwork directly and keep costs lower than what you might encounter through galleries or other third-party sources. You will find works on paper, sketches, studies, larger canvases, and other unique items sold in the shop.

In determining the pricing of each piece, I take various factors into consideration. Size is just one of them. The choice of material and surface also play a crucial role in pricing, as does the time spent on an individual piece. Works that are old, less finished or may have slight artistic imperfections are offered at more affordable rates. Works on paper are sold unframed unless otherwise specified.

You'll find more intricate, finished and high- quality pieces commanding a higher price point. For instance, a composition featuring multiple figures set against a fully developed background will be priced higher than a study canvas portraying a solitary figure against a minimal backdrop. Works that may be deemed high demand or of special significance to an entire body of work will also be priced competitively.

Your artwork will be packed safely and shipped to you, or you may contact me to make arrangements to pick up in person if you are near Marblehead, MA. To learn more about shipping, click here.
